The management team consists of Kevin Wesley, a local Roatan businessman, Jimmy Mikkelsen, an experienced golf resort designer and Worth Jennings, a Houston businessman and property owner in Roatan, all supported by local professionals. The company is fully funded by its shareholders.


Who is the architect of the villas and resort?

Lane Pettigrew, a renowned Caribbean architect of many years experience is the project architect. The villas are constructed of concrete block with metal roof.


Who designed the golf course?

The international firm of Pete & Perry Dye, Dye Designs, in collaboration with Jimmy Mikkelsen.


What is the price?

$325,000USD for first villas plus furniture package $110,000USD for single family home sites plus cost of construction $110–$115USD per square foot on average depending on interior finishings.

How big are villas?


Yes, $10,000USD is the refundable reservation deposit amount. Upon receipt of sales contract buyer has 14 days to sign contractor terminate. If the buyer terminates within the 14 days, the $10,000USD is refunded.

Can I put money down to reserve the villa that is refundable?

What is the payment schedule once construction begins?


West Bay Golf Club and Villas does not offer financing.

What amenities are committed to by developer?


$200USD per month covering security, landscaping, and insurance. Once resort is fully operational the HOA fee will be adjusted annually to cover actual costs.

There will be rental management company that owners can voluntarily join. Owners would receive 70% of rental revenue while the management company would receive 30%. Normal villa operating expenses will be deducted from the owners income.

Will there be a rental management company and what details are available?


Construction of golf course began in 2017 and will be completed in the early summer of 2019. First villas and single family homesites will be available in 2018 with full project completion expected in 2022.

What is construction timeline of homes and golf course?


The external façade will be consistent with overall project. Internal changes to the layout will not be possible. The villas are sold unfurnished but we will provide some options for furniture packages

What options do I have on the interior of the villa? Furniture options?


Single family home sites are available. Architecture plans must be approved by Developer.

Can a custom home be built?


Builder provides major appliances and kitchen/bathroom fixtures. Furniture, linens, etc. is not included in sales price.

Is the villa furnished at the price being advertised?


Each villa includes one parking space. Additional parking is available at the club house entrance.

What parking spaces are included?


There are many factors which determine the future returns of investment properties and there are no guarantees; however, West Bay is the premier location on the island of Roatan and this is the only golf property on this side of the island.

If I rent out my villa will it be a good investment?


It is anticipated that public price for round of golf is $45 per person and pool access will be $15 per person. Owners will have these public fees deeply discounted and its anticipated each round of golf will be $35 and pool access will be $25 per day per unit and not per person.

What is the price for golf and clubhouse pool access?


The developer is offering three villas for fractional ownership. The ownership options will be one month per year, 3 months per year, or 6 months per year. Prices will start at $35,000USD.
